the end of this site, for good. it was suppose to be for me. then i let it be for someone else. then someone took it. then i tried to take it back. but then it sucked cause i didn't like my audience anymore. and then it sucked even more because i didn't care anymore. then everybody stopped reading. and now it has died a slow and painful death. and it was all too melodramatic for my tastes.

i am sure another site will start somewhere sometime and i am sure some of you will 'stumble' upon it.

kitey forever.

"TWO FOR TUESDAYS... buy one, get one free."

thought i should check in considering my recent xanga reunion. well i AM alive, however, I am seriously obsessed with the TV series ROSWELL. i've spent the last 4 days watching the entire first season. only two more seasons.... the thought alone makes me sad. where the heck was I when this show was on air???? I can't believe I missed out on such a good programme. i keep thinking about them, michael, maria, liz, max and izzy - wishing i could be there with them, that they were my friends. I don't watch much TV and I definitely haven't been into a show this much in a long thime - maybe ever. I made fun of ROSWELL when my brother first bought the first box set. I was so wrong.... SIGH.... no more episodes left to watch until i can afford the second season.... how will i get my fix?

in other news... i am on the job hunt again. and let me tell you: there ain't much out there.

well that's it for news - pretty dull.

I picked up some stuff from the library today. a secret love of mine are books on tape. I borrowed Oscar Wilde's play "A Woman of No Importance." I want to get through all of his writing this summer. he is yet another obsession.

NOT SO FAST.....

hey wait!!!

maybe i don't want to give up on "kitey" the site so quickly. no matter what, "kitey" will stick, site or no site. but reading my second entry, i am not so sure i need to abandon this site all together.

after all, i can't get another site named "kitey."

------

Here's what i wrote sometime in early 2003:

(((At Miner's Pond we use the past to pull ourselves forward; rowing.)))

i started this new weblog mainly because i wanted to change my username to "kite." kite, however, was taken so "kitey" will suffice.

i guess its been about a year now that i have had affections for the word, symbolism, metaphor of kite. when in need inspiration and will, i have summoned the image of me, transformed as a kite; kite's are delicate but are able to withstand twisting winds; there are both elements of control/direction and chaos to their soar; they are often solitary.

i tried to introduce "kite" as a new nickname for myself to my friends. it didn't catch on. first of all, nobody makes up their own nickname. "authentic" nicknames are the products of endearment and usually humilation, bestowed upon us by our closest comrades. also, someone once pointed out that "kite" sounds like "kate" spoken with a strong scotish or irish accent. (she giggled, i thought it was cool). what's more, the word kite has just a hint of vulgarity. very cool.

kite is cool.

so welcome to my new blog: "kitey."

 ------

so maybe i should just sleep on it. i'll wait and see the colours of the morning.

(whoo hoo... beer buddies is on TV )

night all of you out there.

hey everyone.

i really need to update, or change my site.

yeah, i think a change is needed. i read through a  lot of old entries tonight (this morning) and i had so much to say in the past.

my last entries have been pretty empty.

stay tuned for something new.

too tired now for any more details.

peace.

....what what what

True love is hard to find
Someone to treat you right
And if true love you need
Then you will find in me

I hope that you will measure
The contents of my heart
I hope that you will treasure
The way that I feel for you
